Anyway it was felt if God smiled on us. It was absolutely true on the 19th June on the jubilee ‘This Is the Day’ event. Its reason it was that on the previous night there was a storm and the rain was pouring down, and on the very day of the event a wind stormed most part of the country. However, on that day, on the Saturday the sun shone over Budapest so we were able to enjoy the good weather without heat.

Balaton NET: Balatonszemes, PM 9 on 19th August 2010

The Parachute Band from New Zealand is going to hold a concert on the Balaton NET Festival on Thursday 19th August and on the Pocsmegyer World Meeting on Saturday 21st August.
On Pócsmegyer the Bolyki Brothers will be the first singer of the evening which will start at PM 7.30.

The Parachute Band is the main worship band of New Zealand who holds concerts all over the world. They would like to lead people to God with their dynamic and youthful music. The band was established in 1995 with that purpose that they would lead the worship on the biggest Christian Festival of New Zealand, namely, on the Parachute Festival. In the rich one decade they wrote lots of songs which were released on 8 albums.

The Hillsong songs have raised the faith and the hope in the hearts of millions of youth persons all over the world. We can welcome again in our country the one of the freshest and the most dynamic bands of the contemporary gospel music and the scenery will be worthy for them as well the prestigious Papp Laszlo Budapest Sport Arena on 3rd November 2010.

In 2008 the Hillsong London hold a concert with Matt Redman on the roof terrace of the Westend Shopping Centre in Budapest on the Soul & Gospel Festival. The roof terrace of the Westend was totally full with enthusiastic youth on that concert which took very long in the night.
The 5th album of the group will be released later this year from where surely we will be able to listen some new songs as well. Most of repertoire will consist of the Hillsong’s own well known songs and compositions and the songs from their last album, namely, Hail to the King.
The sounding of Hillsong became a concept and it managed to swing on the nowadays modern church music.

The 17th November was a great day as after long expectation and organization Kirk Franklin finally visited Budapest. The musician, who is 7 Grammy award prize-winner and sold more than 15 million albums and he feels himself at home not only in R&B, in hip-hop but in soul and gospel music genre as well, held a fantastic concert in the Sportmax Centre, Budapest.
