Golgota Gospel Choir is going to give 2 concerts at a new, exclusive location, in Budapest Congress Centre at 4 pm and 7:30 pm on 20 December. (1023 Budapest, 1-3 Jagelló street)

It is not necessary to introduce Golgota Gospel Choir to most of you. But this concert will be new for everyone: they are waiting for us with totally new songs with a renewed band augmented with wind instruments. Golgota Gospel Junior will also join for a few songs.

Christmas album introduction concert

The cappella band got the ‘Prima Award’ this year and they are waiting to their faithful old and new fans for their Christmas concert. The program will include the big BB classical songs, and the new songs from their album called ‘Power’ recorded in 2009.

In 2006 the choir was established by Pastor Jon A Palmer to express his gratitude to God as his son was elected to the final of the Austrian Starmania (ie.: American Idol or British Got Talent show) where he got the second prize. Thanks to this, his son has got an international reputation.
The members of the choir are from Hungary, Austria, America (San Francisco) and Serbia so this is a real international choir.

Gospel means ‘Good news’ and has its roots in America. The Gospel songs praise God. The chorus, its soloist singers and the devotional choir give to the audience an enduring and fantastic musical and spiritual experience.

On the 4th of December 2009 at 7.30 PM the Soul&Gospel Club will organise a Santa Claus Party in Take5 Jazz Pub. (Budapest, VI., Paulay Ede u. 2.) The ChickenFly group is going to sing.

The first performer of the night will be Illes Dobner who will sing some new songs from his newly released solo CD named 'Stops'. It will be 'Modern rock music about life and God to everyone'.

The ChickenFly group was founded in 2004 when they had 12 members and they played blues-funky music at first. During the years as all other groups who wanted to 'find their own original voice' they formed and became matured and similarly to the good vine did not get old but its 'taste' became characteristic. They have released one promotional album which was called 'For You' and two albums: 'It Shakes You Up' and 'Would Fly'. The ChickenFly group is about to sing new songs with their 'old' dynamism in Take5 Jazz Pub.

Kirk Franklin will have a concert on the 17th of November in Budapest!
Possibly the most well known artist in the modern gospel will bring his whole band for this European tour.
