Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania which is a three million habitant Baltic country. During its stormful history, it was an independent Lithuanian city-state, it belonged to the Kiev principality, the important cultural capital of Poland, belonged to Russia, the German Empire’s eastern protecting fortress and the oppressed member state of the Soviet occupation. The country also became independent twenty years ago, and later became the member of the European Union as well.

Vilnius which has half million inhabitants organized its own Hope Festival in October 2011.

The Hope Festival in October was a historical event. The evangelization was organized in Siemens Sport Arena which has 12,000 sitting and standing rooms.

The Hungarian Christian dominations are going to organise with the cooperation of Billy Graham Evangelizational Society the Hope Festival in the Laszlo PAPP Sport Arena in 1&3 June 2012. The ‘This Is The Day’ Office also takes part in the organization of the event.

Casting Crowns

What is going to happen if a young pastor starts a worship group who are serious about the music and the mission as well?

They have been playing at different concerts, they have been talking about Jesus for four years and with one record they became famous all around the word. Since 2003 they sang several well-known songs, they sold more than 5 million records, and they still take part in the church worship service except if they are on tour. The name of the group, Casting Crowns indicates to whom belongs the glory, and their sound music and their quality songs are ours.

There will be held an evangelical sequence Hope Festival with the cooperation of the Hungarian Christian denominations and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association between 1st and 3rd June 2012 in Laszlo PAPP Sport Arena in Budapest, Hungary.

The aim of the event is to mobilize the Hungarian Christian communities to collect as much people as possible to listen the message of the gospel. We would like to give an opportunity to people to answer to the calling of the gospel, to take part on personal spiritual consultancy, and to forward them to aftercare to any church or denomination presented on the event for spiritual strength.
