The Budapest Margaret Island Athletic Centre will be the host of the event on 19th June 2010, starting from 3.30 pm to 10.30 pm.

10 years ago the events organized by This is the day! started with Christian programs, with praise and worship events in stadiums and it brought new colours into the Hungarian church life.

The interdenominational events managed to reach 100,000 people in the Carpathian Basin. This is the day! organization would like to serve towards you with this year ceremonial praise& worship and family day as an anniversary event.

The afternoon program will start with the Baptist wind instrument ring and we will not miss Bela Pinter and Offspring Group who will be followed with a high-standard Hungarian music block where singers Laszlo Csiszer, Istvan Gyarfas, Bela Lakatos, Laszlo Prazsak and Bela Pinter will sing. The following artists will also perform in the afternoon: János Karácsony (LGT), Sándor Sasvári, Balázs Bolyki, Johnny K. Palmer, and the Eucharist Band (Gável Bothers).

Later, our special guest Ron Kenoly will sing some songs, who is one of the biggest worship leaders in the world since 1992 when he released Lift Him Up album and millions of worship lovers grown up on his worship service. The aim of his musical mission is to create such an atmosphere where God’s present can manifest. The Hungarian Joy Gospel Music choir will sing with Ron Kenoly.

The meaningful day will be closed by Planetshakers who represent a youthful and spiritful worship. During this programs, in the breaks there will be prayer for our nation, preach of the Word and Testimonies from 3.30 pm to 10.30 pm.

Next to the great stage, there will be children stage as well with kids programs, craftsman events, sport activities, face painting and lots and lots of happy programs will be available for the youngest.

In our country several Christian mission organizations work but the public does only know very little about them. We do organize a Mission Expo with the support of the Hungarian Gospel Aliansz which will let interested people to get more information about the activities of these organizations. So during the jubilee This is the day! program on the Margaret Island the Mission Expo will be held as well where these Christian organizations will have the opportunity to introduce themselves. Information

Access to the Margitsziget: you can walk on Margit Bridge into the island in about 5-10 minutes from both sides of the city. You can also come by bus nr. 26. which starts from ’Árpád híd’ underground station.
There are free parking places, on the wharfs both sides of the Margit híd. There are controlled parking places on the north side of the island (for 2 EUR/hour), wich you can reach from the Árpád bridge.
Buffet will be available at the venue.
We will help you getting accomodation.
In this season there is a chance for either very hot or rainy weather, so please bring umbrella with you.
