Laszlo PAPP Budapest Sport Arena

We are happy to announce that the Laszlo PAPP Budapest Sport Arena will be the spot of the day of the This Is The Day event on the 2nd October. This Is The Day has been organising praise and worship events for different Christian denominations for more than a decade.

This is a great privilege to us that probably one of the most famous new generational worship groups, the Jesus Culture (USA) and Banning Liebscher has accepted our invitation to this gathering.

The program will be approximately 5 hours long, and the following Hungarian singers will sing some songs: Pintér Béla and his group, Csiszér László and the Amaro Del.

Certainly, we will not miss to commonly pray to our nation and the gospel will be preached as well which has always have an important part of the event of This Is The Day programs.

The Papp László Budapest Sportaréna is the most state-of-the-art hall in Central Europe and we do expect to have 10,000 persons from all over of Carpathian Basin.

We expect many to come from the surrounding countries to attend this concert.
Our desire to praise the Lord together and gather around Him from different nations to show our love toward Him and to each other. Our common worship is the best way to express our unity which works accross the borders.

The Jesus Culture as a movement

If there is such a Christian group which is one time a modern one, which is intensive and which plays at high music standard – that is the Jesus Culture.
They have just recently become famous and nowadays they are the most wanted Christian worship group worldwide from different worship bands.

Their playing has the following features: radical devotion, the live-through of God’s love and power. With their service we would like to help the personal renew of the audience. The deep praise and worship has an emphasise importance which can be ensured by the name of Kim Walker-Smith and Chris Quilala.

In this year at the 25th Hillsong Conference in Sydney Jesus Culture will be the host band. Furthermore, Jesus Culture will do expect to their concert 20 000 young people where the Hillsong United and Reinhard Bonke will be hosts of the event.

According to their service for different Christian denomination Jesus Culture group is coming to Central Europe first time to encourage Christians that they can be alone the partakers of spiritual renewal of their own environment and of their country.

During their European Tour next to London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Zurich and Copenhagen we will be able to see the group personally in Budapest in October which is also well known in Hungary.

Jesus Culture has already released six albums (CD, DVD), from which the My Passion became the most sold EP in USA.
